Micro Matters
The project, set against the backdrop of the London Shambala Music Festival, organized a large-scale interactive board game named "Microplastic Monopoly."
The aim was to disseminate scientific knowledge about microplastic to festival-goers in an entertaining and engaging way, while also promoting Shambala's environmental ethos. Furthermore, the project seeks to establish a shared Shambala microplastic database to heighten public awareness and concern about microplastic pollution.
We produced a scaled-down physical board game based on the design concept and scheduled a photography studio for shooting.
“ There are many elements that go into creating a successful tabletop game. These can include the components, rulebooks, and art. One of the most important, are the rules that players use to interact with the game and each other.”
